Public Centre for Human Rights and Solidarity Economy in Sao Paulo, Brazil

The mayor of Sao Paulo, Fernando Haddad (PT) inaugurated on November 6, the Public Centre for Human Rights and Solidarity Economy, which will include a solidarity economy incubator onsite.  The incubator  will offer seminars, workshops, accounting and legal advice, business plan development assistance, as well as continuing education courses free of charge. Through the center, entrepreneurs will also have access to micro-credit through the Development Agency of Sao Paulo.

“The center is part of a strategy to strengthen entrepreneurs, small businesses, cooperatives and the solidarity economy as a model of economic development that we want to encourage,” added the mayor.
